The Buffpay/Buffpay gaming competition
Buff Technologies (Buff.game), which developed and operates a loyalty program platform for gamers with over 15 million users worldwide, is launching a national online gaming competition for its users for the first time in Israel. The competition will take place in the Bap application, which has been downloaded by over 100,000 people in Israel so far. The competition is sponsored by Buffpay, the dedicated credit card for gamers, which the company recently launched. This is the first brand in Israel to hold a competition of this kind.
The competition will take place in the two most popular games in Israel - Fortnite and Valorant, will be held over the course of a whole month and will begin on Passover. Within it, players (app users) will be able to compete against the best gamers in Israel and win weekly prizes. The competition is based on a scoring system where each game has a separate scoring table, each week the top 10 players in the weekly results tables will receive 100 BUFF points, and in the fourth and last week of the challenge, the top three players in the Fortnite Valorant ranking tables will be rewarded with equal prizes worth thousands of shekels.
The competition will be based on a points system, where different actions will earn different amounts of points. While the user is playing the game, notifications will appear stating that they are participating in the Buffpay Challenge along with notifications of earning points towards their ranking in the competition. Among the prizes you can find: the best gaming keyboard in the world - Logitech G Pro X TKL, a professional microphone for streamers - Logitech G Yeti G, gift cards for Riot and Fortnite worth $20 and more.
In addition to developing and operating a loyalty program for gamers, the Bap company collaborates with leading brands, and creates unique campaigns for them that integrate the brands in the most popular games. For example, a campaign launched within the Fortnite game for the P&G company in honor of the Olympics, or a campaign with the Monster energy drink company within the League of Legends game. The company works with international brands from all fields, builds and creates new worlds for them within existing games.
"We are excited to hold a national online gaming competition for our users and the tens of thousands of gamers in Israel. For the first time, gamers regardless of age, gender, or ranking will be able to compete with each other, stand out in front of their friends and win very worthwhile prizes." Says co-founder and VP of the company Ofir Gartner. "Also, this is an opportunity to strengthen our credit card brand BUFFPAY in collaboration with Isracard and reward the card holders as well. Bap was established by gamers for gamers and this competition is another way for us to support this growing community in Israel and provide them with an excellent gaming experience."
