Since the emergency services initially assumed a plane crash, several drones and a helicopter then flew over the towns to find a possible crashed plane and injured people. Then the police gave the all-clear: According to the information, an accident could be ruled out during the search.
Misfortune ruled out: smoke and bangs probably caused by an aerobatic flying team - investigations
The callers probably saw the smoke from a jet plane belonging to an Austrian aerobatic team, the spokesman said. The investigators' assumption: The aerobatic flying team had flown over the Bavarian area and tried out the existing smoke launcher. According to police, the bang could have been caused when it was triggered. According to the police, they are now investigating whether it was really the plane and whether it was allowed to try out the smoke launchers.
