Victim of its success, it has been sold out since last week. The egg hunt, organized this Sunday March 31 by the town of Chesnay-Rocquencourt (Yvelines), will welcome a thousand children from 1 to 10 years old to Aubert Park, or more than 20% of the town's toddlers.

“This is the third edition that we are organizing. At the first, we had 600 children, at the second 800 children, this year 1,000 and we still had requests that we had to refuse for logistical reasons,” indicates the town hall.

Word of mouth added to registration facilities in daycare centers and on the Internet explains this success. “For some parents, it’s an opportunity to offer a fun moment to their children, who meet up with their friends. For others, who live in the Parly 2 apartments and only have a balcony, it is a question of convenience,” continues the city, which is doing everything possible to accommodate these thousand children and their parents. .

A highlight of local life

Twenty-five facilitators will be mobilized to direct the children towards one of the three routes proposed according to their age: collecting six eggs of different colors for 1 to 4 year olds, another for 5 to 6 year olds and solving puzzles for 7 year olds. at 10 years old… Everyone will leave with a bag containing a chocolate rabbit and small chocolate eggs.
