A man from Germany (32) died during a rescue attempt west of Barcelona. Other people died as a result of stormy weather.
Tarragona - The stormy weather in northern Spain has already claimed four lives. There is also a German among the deceased. The 32-year-old died on Thursday (March 28) while trying to save a 16-year-old Moroccan who had fallen into the water on a beach in Catalonia, police told AFP on Thursday.

rescued by emergency services , according to
Catalan News .
Several more people died due to the high waves and strong winds in the run-up to Storm Nelson, which is expected in the coming days. “Two people died after falling into the sea in Muros del Nalón and Cudillero,” emergency services in the Asturias region said. In Muros del Nalón, rescuers used a helicopter to retrieve the lifeless body of a man from the water after being informed of the incident. The body of a woman was recovered in the neighboring municipality of Cudillero, it said.
The Spanish weather agency Aemet issued a warning on Thursday and announced waves of up to seven meters high. Aemet also warned that Storm Nelson currently raging over Great Britain could reach the Iberian Peninsula by the end of March.
