GeoSphere Austria
announced. According to initial information, the earthquake there had a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale. However, this is still an “untested automatic evaluation,” as the experts stated on their website.

There has been an increasing number of clearly noticeable earthquakes in Italy and Austria in the recent past
There have been several earthquakes in Italy and Austria in the recent past. Among other things, an “earthquake shock” occurred in Tuscany. The Adriatic region was also recently hit by an earthquake that was felt not only in Italy but also in Croatia. In addition, the supervolcano in Italy continues to cause concern with its swarm earthquakes.
However, Italy is not the only country that repeatedly registers strong tremors. Incidents are also increasing in Austria. A “clearly” noticeable earthquake hit an entire community. But the foothills can also be felt across national borders. Finally, an earthquake in Austria was registered in four countries.
