Good Friday (March 29th) is a quiet holiday in Bavaria. Very special regulations apply on these days. What you can't do on Good Friday.

Bavaria - The Friday before Easter, Good Friday, is a quiet holiday. Christians commemorate Jesus' death on the cross on this day, so there are strict rules associated with this day after Maundy Thursday in Christian Bavaria. Very special prohibitions apply to these quiet holidays - these are set out in the Bavarian Law on the Protection of Sundays and Holidays, in short: Holiday Law.

No sporting or other entertainment events on Good Friday

Basically, when it comes to public holidays in Bavaria, anything that could disturb the holiday peace in any way is prohibited. For quiet holidays - including Good Friday (March 29th) - sporting events are also prohibited, as are entertainment events of all kinds. The public holiday law regulates an exception: events are permitted “if the serious character corresponding to these days is maintained”. In addition, the Bavarian government has issued a general ban on dancing on quiet holidays, including Good Friday - the latter in particular always causes heated discussions.

Good Friday: The dance floors must remain empty

Dance floors of all kinds must remain empty on quiet holidays, the city of Munich informs. Although it is theoretically possible for clubs, discos and stages to open on public holidays, they must “adapt their program to the day,” writes the city of Munich. It is also possible to “party” until 2 a.m. on most Silent Holidays. After that, clubs will be allowed to stay open, but will have to turn down the music and get people off the dance floor.

So it stays quiet in clubs and bars, many don't even open - like supermarkets, which have to remain completely closed on Good Friday. The only exception here applies to bakeries (which are allowed to open for three hours) and shops and stores within airports and train stations.
