The exhibition “We lived in an oasis of peace”
opened on March 8th in the Badehaus memorial site on Waldramer Kolpingplatz
. In collaboration with the Protestant church community, the historical association designed the history of the Jewish girls' school in Wolfratshausen, which existed from 1926 to 1938, 20 years ago. “From then on, the exhibition was shown all over Germany and could even be seen in Berlin,” reported Hannelore Greiner. The exhibition is supported by the bathhouse association.

students from an award-winning P-seminar at the Geretsrieder high school with Waldram primary school students
made a tree woman and other
“women's pictures”
, which
can be admired
in the beer garden of the Flößerei inn on April 13th from 5 p.m.
“It is not easy to exhibit these ladies in public spaces,” said club chairman Ludwig Gollwitzer. Further locations in Geretsried and Wolfratshausen are to follow.

Ascension Day (May 9th),
art historian Monika Kroiß leads a tour of the Saint George Chapel
in Hornstein. “It originally stood on a steep slope north of the castle and was in danger of falling,” explained Kroiß. After its relocation in 1869, the chapel's neo-classical interior design attracted foreign visitors.
A little further away from Wolfratshausen is
the newly designed Diocesan Museum in Freising
. The historical association therefore invites you to take a S-Bahn ride with a guided tour of the
Bavarian State Exhibition
. Anja Brandsschläger will tell
the story of Duke Tassilo, Korbinian and the bear
. “Korbinian was a Frenchman who was sent to the Pope in Rome,” Brandsschläger said. Because the ambassador's horse was eaten by a bear on the way, Korbinian tamed the predator and made it carry his luggage.
A tour of the Wolfratshausen parish church of St. Andreas, which is accessible despite the pending renovation,

led by the archaeologist Markus Fagner to the former location of the Wolfratshauser Castle
