The spring revival is causing a slight decline in the number of unemployed in Lower Saxony. The unemployment rate is 5.9 percent.
Hanover - The number of unemployed people in Lower Saxony fell by 5,700 to around 263,000 in March compared to February. The Federal Employment Agency announced on Thursday that the unemployment rate fell by 0.2 points to 5.9 percent. A year ago the rate was 5.7 percent. For the statistics, the Federal Agency used data that was available up to March 13th. dpa
