TV audiences: “Face to face” distances a little from “Koh-Lanta”, disappointment for the France 2 documentary

Highlights: France 3 is leading the audience this Tuesday, April 16 thanks to the continuation of its series "Face to face." The first part of the evening attracted 3.40 million fans, or 15.9% of the public watching television, according to Médiamétrie. France 2 narrowly slips into third place with the documentary-fiction "The Last Secrets of Humanity," directed by Jacques Malaterre. The film attracted 1.74 million viewers (8.5% audience share) A very disappointing score as the previous opus, "The Odyssey of the Species", broadcast more than twenty years ago, had attracted 8.7 million viewers on January 7, 2003, on France 3. Even the documentary "DGSE: the factory of secret agents" on France 2 last Tuesday performed better (1.93 million, 9.5 per cent audience share). M 6 is at the foot of the podium with a new issue of its magazine "Arnaques!". Presented by Julien Courbet, it attracted 1,68 million curious people.

France 3 is leading the audiences this Tuesday, April 16 thanks to the continuation of season 2 of its series “Face to face”. The first part of the evening attracted 3.40 million fans, or 15.9% of the public watching television, according to Médiamétrie. The second was then followed by 3.02 million people (15.8% audience share). Scores up slightly compared to those of the previous Tuesday (3.26 and 3.03 million for 15.2% and 16.4% PDA).

TF 1 is second with “Koh-Lanta: the immunity hunters”. The first part of this episode brought together 3 million faithful (14.2% PDA) and the second 2.55 million (15% PDA). The adventure game is down compared to Tuesday April 9 (3.25 and 2.89 million for 15.4 and 18.5% PDA).

Great docu-fiction but small odyssey for France 2

France 2 narrowly slips into third place with the documentary-fiction “The Last Secrets of Humanity”, directed by Jacques Malaterre. The film attracted 1.74 million viewers (8.5% audience share). A very disappointing score as the previous opus, “The Odyssey of the Species”, broadcast more than twenty years ago, had attracted 8.7 million viewers on January 7, 2003, on France 3. This represented a share audience of 34.2%! Even the documentary “DGSE: the factory of secret agents”, programmed on France 2 last Tuesday, performed better (1.93 million, 9.5% audience share).

M 6 is at the foot of the podium with a new issue of its magazine “Arnaques!” ". Presented by Julien Courbet, it attracted 1.68 million curious people (8.6% PDA). This is a little more than for the last broadcast on January 26 (1.51 million, 9% PDA).

As for other channels, France 5 is doing well thanks to the documentary “Naturopathy: a little, a lot... à la madness” which brought together 806,000 individuals, or 3.8% of the public.
