The Nature and Parks Authority is opening a new visitor center at the Einat Tzukim nature reserve, which presents the story of the Dead Sea rift in the past, present and future, during Passover and during the holy week. This is a complementary product that is accessible to the visit of the lowest reserve in the world and adds an experience of content to the visit.
Visitors to the place will experience an interactive journey in three unique spaces - the Alice room, the auditorium and the night experience. In the Alice room, visitors will experience nature similar to the story "Alice and Wonderland". The visitors will be small creatures inside a space where enlarged representations of nature in the reserve. From there, the visitors will move to the auditorium where they will have a visual-sensory experience that presents, with the help of a unique film, the past, present and future of the Dead Sea. The story is presented through the eyes of the researchers and scientists who studied the unique phenomena of the Dead Sea and even dived in the Dead Sea. The third room is a journey through the night experience in the reserve, where visitors will get to know the lives of the animals - the inhabitants of the reserve - and feel the difference between life during the day and life at night.
The visitor center presents the state of the Dead Sea and the nature around it, with the aim of raising awareness of the state of the sea. The experiential route at the visitor center lasts about half an hour and will run every half hour. You must register at the tourist service center in the reserve.
Visiting the visitor center is free of charge beyond the entrance fee. Every half hour there will be an entrance to the visitor center.
