The bureaucratic process for starting work on the bridge over the Strait of Messina is at the starting line: next April 16th, at 11:00, the preliminary services conference has been called at the MIT. This is the first operational step which marks the start of activities for the finalization of the construction sites within the year.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini, who has been following the dossier carefully since he took office, declared himself very satisfied and confident that the discussion will lead to the definition of the activities in the shortest possible time. Thus a note from MIT.
"All interested ministries and state administrations, the Calabria and Sicilian Regions, the municipalities, as well as the managing bodies of the infrastructure networks (gas and energy, for example) recipients of any interference are invited to participate at the table. - explains the note from Mit - The project documentation will be made available to everyone, in order to allow the widest possible participation and appropriate assessments".
