The Scuola Normale di Pisa asks the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to re-evaluate the agreement with Israel envisaged in the 'Scientific Notice 2024', issued on 21 November 2023 in implementation of the agreement for industrial, scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries. The request was made by the students, the motion was then approved by a majority of the Academic Senate. 'The request for the release of the hostages and an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is forcefully renewed, also in light of the UN resolution of 25 March 2024 - we read in the text - in order to avoid the further worsening of a situation now desperate humanitarian action, which every day becomes more and more an unacceptable form of collective punishment of the Palestinian population.'
