Meta AI is considered Mark Zuckerberg's answer to OpenAI's ChatGPT chatbot. Meta's AI assistant has long been available in the USA via its own chat window in WhatsApp. Users can ask questions or have the assistant create images or individual stickers. The AI assistant has been available to a limited selection of users on Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp since last year.

o reports, users will in future be able to submit queries to the assistant directly via WhatsApp's search function. This eliminates the extra step of opening a separate chat. WhatsApp will also soon suggest prompts. The suggestions for questions and topics are intended to make it easier for users to start the conversation and thus interact with the chatbot. It was initially unclear when the function would come to Germany. One thing is certain: WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are an integral part of many people's everyday lives. Whatsapp alone has two billion active users worldwide. Accordingly, Meta's AI assistant has the potential to achieve greater reach than ChatGPT. For many people, Meta AI could be their first point of contact with generative artificial intelligence.

Dangers of artificial intelligence: Meta will rely on AI labeling in the future
Artificial intelligence not only presents opportunities, but also dangers. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the human eye to distinguish between real and fake images. The Meta Group therefore wants to label content created by artificial intelligence in the future.
