The board of directors of Intesa Sanpaolo, chaired by Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, has adopted, on the proposal of the managing director and CEO Carlo Messina, a new organization based on the "strengths that have made the bank a European leader and on the ability to innovate the group structure" . The new organisation, effective from 2 April, is aimed at addressing the challenges of the sector in Europe with the best new managerial talents and enhancing internal resources, in a long-term perspective.
The new organization "brings together young people in key emanating roles with solid experience behind them", says Messina.
