You can prepare the classic potato and broccoli casserole so easily and quickly

  • While the oven preheats to 180 degrees (alternatively 200 degrees top and bottom heat), the potatoes are washed, peeled and diced into small pieces (around 2 x 2 cm). The broccoli head is also thoroughly cleaned and chopped into larger florets. Then peel and dice the garlic too.

  • Now grease the baking dish with a little olive oil and then put the potatoes, broccoli and garlic in it.

  • In the next step, mix the cream with the vegetable broth, the sour cream and the spices in a mixing bowl. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the vegetables and sprinkle everything generously with cheese. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes until golden. Bon appetit!

  • Something fresh always tastes particularly good with a cheesy gratin or casserole. A classic cucumber salad based on Grandma's recipe can be ideally combined with the full-flavored potato and broccoli casserole.
