Don Alfonso 1890 is about to restart, reopening today, March 28, after a restyling of the restaurant, in its 50 years of activity in Sant'Agata dei Due Golfi (Naples). Temple consecrated to the Mediterranean diet and symbol of the Italian gastronomic heritage, the business led by the Iaccarino family is a historic point of reference in the catering and hospitality sector. "Today we start again, after a year of impressive renovation works on the structure and the company - they announce in a note - to offer an increasingly exclusive experience of haute cuisine in a unique environment and in line with the increasingly current needs of environmental, human and social sustainability, which has been our distinctive element for years and is now more transversal and consolidated". A vision that fits into the concept of "care" which becomes even more of a distinctive trademark of the Iaccarino family, towards a responsibility towards the planet and the people who inhabit it.
The boutique hotel and restaurant return to welcome customers in a climate of hospitality linked to a new concept of "luxury", which is expressed in real sustainability and expressed with an eye towards the future, so that ethics and excellence can be a driving force virtuous. The restructuring is radical, with a view to integral ecology, towards management that concerns every aspect of the company, in terms of waste production, water and energy consumption, air quality. "Zero emissions", "Zero waste" and "Water management" are three key objectives of the project. And the passing of the baton to the children, Mario and Ernesto, has traced an evolution in line with the teachings of Livia and Alfonso, defining a new generation that has the health of the territory and the people at heart.
