“My father is in Douchy. He's there. It will die in Douchy,” assured Anthony Delon, the son of the legendary actor Alain Delon during an interview on Wednesday March 27 with C à Vous.
Diminished for several months by health concerns following a stroke in 2019, the 88-year-old actor will end his days in the town of Loiret, assures Anthony, who with his brother Alain-Fabien faced their sister Anouchka who hoped to repatriate their father by his side, in Geneva, Switzerland.
The question had weakened the family which had been waging a fratricidal war for many months on social networks, in the press and in the courts. “There is a fight that has been waged, a fight of ethics and moral values. It was not a fight for money as many journalists said,” underlined the eldest of the Anthony family.
“It is the duty of a son”
“It was important to respect his wishes,” he says. It's a bit like a son's duty. The duty of a son is honor, it is the word given.”
Another reason given by Anthony Delon to justify the need for his father to stay in Douchy: the fragile health of the man who has appeared in more than 100 films. “He doesn’t want to move anymore; moreover, according to the doctor, it is not transportable. Taking him to Switzerland would be extremely dangerous,” Anthony explained in a previous interview with Paris Match magazine.

The place where the interpreter should end his days was not the only sticking point within the family. The clan has been tearing itself apart for several weeks over accusations made by Anthony that Anouchka is manipulating her father. A situation which led the actor to file a complaint against Anthony on January 4.
