For those of you who have a beloved family member who passed away (unbeknownst to us), you can only imagine the shock experienced by the sister of the singer
Zeba Ben
,
Jacqueline Levy
, when she came to visit
Shimon Benishti
, their late father. Upon her arrival at the cemetery in Be'er Sheva, she discovered that her father's grave had been butchered by merciless unknown people.
Benishti immigrated from Morocco and raised his two daughters in Beer Shavuot. You can understand the talented roots of Levy and Ben after it turns out that their father was also a popular musician in the days when he was still living in Morocco. Benishti passed away in 1988, when he was only 50 years old.
In response to the unfortunate incident, the singer spoke about her feelings: "I found out about the case and I was just shocked on the worst possible level", in addition she also emphasized that this is really not a rare case in the cemeteries in Be'er Sheva: "This is a common phenomenon in the southern region, and I hope that it will be stopped as soon as possible , especially in this period".
Ben's heartbroken sister, who was the first to find out about the act, also responded to the incident: "They didn't just break the headstone, they broke the family's heart."
