Construction work officially began in March on the Laboratoire Innovation Cellule Batterie, at the Renault group's Technical Center in Lardy, in the Department of Essonne, France. Developed over a surface area of 3,000 m2, the two-storey building will house over 120 pieces of equipment, including a 600 m2 anhydrous laboratory room.
This laboratory, of great strategic importance for anticipating technological progress relating to battery cells, will operate at full capacity in the second half of 2025.
