This Tuesday, the Francis Scott Key Bridge, in Baltimore (United States), collapsed after being hit by a long container ship. Two kilometers of scrap metal fell into the water when the bridge was hit.

The authorities indicated that the Dali, this liner 300 m long, 48 m wide and nearly 25 m high, faced a breakdown in the ship's propulsion system while it was left the port of Baltimore. Shortly before the impact, flight attendants warned Maryland authorities of a possible collision with the bridge.
