The German Ministry of the Interior has clarified that the gesture is common among Muslims. Rudiger: "I will not allow myself to be insulted and defamed as an Islamist. This is propaganda and division; I will always defend myself resolutely against it" The German Football Association is also taking legal action against the former editor-in-chief.
