Former PSG player now converted sports coordinator for US Créteil Lusitanos. Sammy Traoré received a 16-match suspension and a fine of 50 euros for his club.

The former PSG defender (2006-2011) allegedly uttered insults, in addition to having been aggressive and disrespectful towards an assistant referee during an U16 match between his club and Racing Club of France in R1 (1-2). Traoré said he had “no major problem” with the referee concerned and did not have a “disrespectful attitude” towards anyone. He previously crossed the field voluntarily and delayed the resumption of the match at half-time. For his part, still in the report sent to the commission, Traoré explained that he had no problem with the assistant referee concerned. He also said that he did not encourage his players to commit serious fouls on their opponents. The disciplinary committee of the French Football Federation found him guilty of inappropriate behavior and suspended him for 16 games.
