FC Bayern is looking for a coach - and is finding it incredibly difficult. The question that quite a few people are now asking themselves is: does no one want to coach FCB? The rejection of Julian Nagelsmann, who extended his DFB contract until 2026, is likely to have hit FC Bayern hard.
The most prominent rejection came from preferred candidate Xabi Alonso, who does not consider his mission at Bayer Leverkusen to be over yet. Ralf Rangnick, who was also on the candidate carousel, canceled just a few days ago during a press round. Hansi Flick, who won the quadruple of the championship, DFB Cup, Champions League, and Supercup with Bayern in 2020, can definitely imagine a return. Flick would prefer to take over the vacant coaching position at FC Barcelona next season. The rumor mill has been cooking at the highest level since February 21st that Tuchel and Bayern will go their separate ways again at the end of the season.
