Paris Saint-Germain defeated FC Barcelona on their home ground in Montjuc. PSG are the first French club in history to qualify for the next round in the Champions League finals after losing the first leg at home.
Ousmane Dembélé has scored twice as many goals (2) in two matches and six days against Barça as in 34 matches in all competitions previously (1) PSG is the only team to have won twice in Barcelona in the final phase of the UEFA Champions League (at least since 1992). All places combined, PSG have beaten Barça four times in the final phase (1995, 2017, 2021, 2024). Only Bayern Munich (4) has done so much in the same period of time. In total, this brings to four the number of Champions League semi-finals for PSG in its history, if we add 1994-95 against AC Milan.
