Ronald Araujo was sent off in PSG's 4-1 Champions League quarter-final win over Barcelona. The Uruguayan defender was shown a red card in the 29th minute for a foul on Bradley Barcola.

The 25-year-old apologized on social networks for not giving his team joy. Barcelona coach Xavi blamed the refereeing for his team's defeat in the last-eight tie. The Catalans can, for the most part, only blame themselves for the defeat. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes, with PSG winning the first leg 3-2 on aggregate. The second leg will take place at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night, with the winner to be decided on away goals in the second leg of the semi-final on Wednesday. The final will be played in Paris on May 14. The winner will face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on May 21.
