The Crous call center of the academies of Versailles, Créteil, and Paris, located in the 5th arrondissement, will relocate its activity outside the Île-de-France. The Union Etudiante Paris union published a press release in which it denounced the elimination of several positions.

30 students working for this call center, dedicated to questions related to scholarships based on social criteria, have already had to leave their positions. "This choice was made to improve service to students, because it is not normal that we cannot answer the phone," defends the director of the Crous de Paris, Thierry Bégué. He recalls that the national dropout rate objective is 85%, while this Parisian center could not even absorb "half" of it. A total that is far too low compared to the 700,000 students gathered in the three Ile-de-France academies. The end of the changeover should take place on June 1 for the Parisian platform.
