At least two people were killed and 15 injured last night following a Russian missile attack on the city of Dnipro, in central-eastern Ukraine. One of the victims is an eight-year-old boy.

Several floors of an ordinary residential building were destroyed, and the railway station was damaged. Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky: 'We must defeat Russian terror. This is a necessity not only for our country, not only for Ukrainians, but it is a global necessity.' "Russia must answer for its terror, and every missile, every shahed must be shot down," says Zelenskiy. "Every country that supplies air defense systems to Ukraine, every leader that helps convince our partners that air defense systems should be deployed in cities and communities under attack by terrorists," adds the Ukrainian leader. "The world can guarantee this, our partners have the necessary capabilities. This has been proven in the skies of the Middle East, and it should work even in the skies of Europe," adds Zelensky.
