Several posters promote the book "Transmania," written by Marguerite Stern and Dora Moutot, two controversial authors. Emmanuel Grégoire, the first deputy (PS) to the mayor of Paris, seized the display.

"Hate of others has no place in our city," the elected official tweeted. Anne Hidalgo's right-hand man ordered the JCDecaux company, responsible for advertising displays in the capital, to remove these posters. The first deputy mayor contacted JCDECaux by mail in order to understand the reasons which may have led this advertisement to appear in the public space of the capital and to request its "immediate withdrawal." The elected official is now waiting for "a response from the advertising agency's" response. "You are not going to ban anything at all, Emmanuel. You will manage your frustration like a grown-up and wait for it to pass," reacted one of the two authors in reaction to the elected officials' request.
