The Landsberg city council dealt with the plans for the new building of the district office at Penzinger Feld. Criticism arose - about the extent of the parking areas but also about the building as a whole.
The designs by the Hascher Jehle Architektur planning office envisage a round building with four full floors. A hall for 200 people, a cafeteria, and the admissions office will be located on the ground floor, while the office rooms facing a park-like courtyard will be located on the upper floors. The roof landscape will be extensively greened and equipped with PV systems. A state-of-the-art energy concept with heat pumps, mechanical ventilation, energy recovery, and outside air geothermal heat exchangers ensures energy efficiency and CO2 savings.
