The buyer of the former bakery building in Holzolling now wants to build two apartments instead of a workers' dormitory (17 beds). But the local council doesn't trust the plan.

The floor plans of the two apartments are the same on the plans and only the rooms that were previously designated as two-bed rooms now referred to as 'Bedroom', 'Child 1', 'Child 2' or 'Reading Room.' "Such audacity must not prevail," said Betty Mehrer (SPD). "This is a normal planning application for two homes and it needs to be treated as such,' said Johannes Wieser (CSU). "I think it's a strong point how the municipality's planning sovereignty is being handled here," said Betty Meirrer, who is a member of the Greens party in the district of Schleswig-Holzollen.
