In March the prices of food, household and personal care goods slow down on a trend basis. The price lists of high-frequency purchasing products also fell (from +2.8% in February to + 2.5%).

Similar trend also for food goods: the Istata has in fact detected a slowdown compared to a year earlier for the Prices of unprocessed food goods ( from +4.4% to -2.6%) and tobacco (from -1.6% to +1.9%) In March the "shopping cart" shrinks: according to Istat, the price list of food and household goods fell from +3.4%, to -3.5%, and from +2,5% to 2,5%. In March, the prices for the entire community (NIC), including tobacco, recorded no cyclical change and an increase of 1.2% on an annual basis, from +0.8%. In February, the index of consumer prices recorded a cyclical increase of 0.4%.
