Pop singer Michelle (52) has announced the end of her career. A talk show appearance has now brought her into a comparatively smaller circle.

She achieved a respectable success (8th place) at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001. Her farewell album “Flutlicht” is due. And of course, she will also be seen on various Schlager stages before she retires. The 52-year-old was able to talk about her voluntary retirement and her career on the "Kölner Treff" on WDR. Her interim conclusion: "My life is very exciting, and I'm really, really happy that it was such a huge rollercoaster, where at times I actually felt sick. I think I would just do it exactly the same way again." The age difference shouldn't be an issue, but it always was. There were even nasty threats, but the couple just wanted to enjoy their happiness. Michelle now repeated this in the talk group: "We are happy, and we don't care what everyone else thinks.
