The Bts group, active in the construction and management of biogas and biomethane plants, and eAb, a group that offers energy sustainability solutions, have signed a collaboration agreement to develop over 10 projects for the upgrading of existing plants. Through this agreement, BTS and AB will contribute to the decarbonization process.
Total production estimated at approximately 30 million cubic meters per year on the 10 plants in which they will collaborate, with an annual saving of approximately 63 thousand tons of CO2 equivalent, which corresponds approximately to 2.2 million trees planted. For BTS, this would be an investment of around 90 million euros for the development and construction of the plants. The partnership with BTS is long-standing, and we are pleased to strengthen it by making available all the AB solutions dedicated to biometrichane:Biogas upgrading, biometHane liquefaction, cogeneration, and all the technologies accompanying the plants.
