From April 19 to 21, the Gironde commune is hosting the 9th edition of its boat show. 65,000 visitors and 180 exhibitors are expected, and no less than 460 boats are afloat and on land.

Entrance to the show is free, but there is a charge for the many activities and entertainment. An auction will also be held for the benefit of sea rescuers, and a helicopter hoisting demonstration will take place. The port of Arcachon, in addition to being a real place of life for the inhabitants of the town, is the second largest marina on the Atlantic coast. It is the only deep water port in the basin and the only European marina to have obtained triple QSE certification (quality, safety, environment). The show aims to be a “true showcase of the nautical industry” and "aspires to become an essential reference on a national scale" for the French people, says mayor Yves Foulon.
