Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle has just left the Top 5 of the best airports in the world, as revealed by Skytrax in its 2024 ranking. With the World Airport Awards, the British organization distinguishes each year the airports and airlines best evaluated by travelers.

Singapore-Changi loses its place as world leader in favor of Hamad International Airport (Qatar). The latter, a Qatar Airways hub, also won the title of “Best global airport for shopping” for the second year in a row. The biggest breakthrough was made by Dubai Airport in the United Arab Emirates, which gained ten points from 17th to 7th place. The latter could also break an attendance record in 2024, with nearly 89 million passengers expected. With more than 45 million passengers, the airport saw a remarkable 31% increase from the previous year, surpassing the momentum established during the 2024 FIFA World Cup. Singapore Airport rises to second place on the podium, as in 2022, followed in third place by Incheon International Airport, South Korea. Tokyo-Haneda and Tokyo-Narita complete this Top 5.
