After only two years, Tine and Andy Malyssek decided to close their shop in Traunstein. MalysLaden was more than just a shop for the two of them; it was a place for encounters, exchanges, and joy.
"Every customer who walked through our door became part of a story we all wrote together," says Tine. The retail landscape is changing; customers are looking for more convenience and affordable deals, which are often found online. In addition, many people want to design things themselves. The so-called DIY trend (do-it-yourself) has led to a decline in demand for their products, says Andy. ''I can do that myself' - a sentence that came to us often and made us proud and sad at the same time.'' It's not easy to say goodbye, but we look back on the past few years with gratitude.
