For the first time, the hundred bishops from all over the country dedicated a day to the analysis of the scourge. They considered the political and judicial collusion of the security forces and the growing tolerance of drug consumption.

The Archbishop of Rosario expressed “immense gratitude” to the Pope and to the people of Rosarios for the accompaniment to the video message that Francis sent in recent days as well as the letter from the authorities of the Episcopal Conference and the initiative of the archbishop of Mercedes-Luján to pray the Rosary from the basilica of the Patron Saint of Argentines. He also asked himself, "How have those cruel hearts been generated that lead to murder and attempts to make people disappear, leaving an entire family in mourning with the death of their son? What noble ideals have we stopped instilling and witnessing by example so that so many, especially young people, seek through drugs to achieve that need to 'be well'?
