The Paris commercial court validated this Friday the offer of the subsidiary of the Vivendi group. The bimonthly magazines Ideat (design, decoration, architecture) and The Good Life (men's lifestyle) join the galaxy of the press group Prisma Media.

Prisma's luxury and lifestyle division was formed in 2023. It includes the French edition of the American fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, Milk (lifestyle for urban families) and the Côté Maison group, specialist in home decoration. The two brands were owned by the magazine press group I/O Media, owned by entrepreneur Albin Serviant. It is the latter entity which had filed a takeover file for Ideat Edition. Ideat and the Good Life achieve a combined turnover of 5 million euros and employ around twenty employees. All are covered by Prisma. The press group is owned by Vivendi, which also owns La Vanguardia, Elle, and L'Officiel, among others. The takeover is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
