James McCartney and Sean Ono Lennon released a new single called "Primrose Hill" last week. James McCartney, 46, released another song earlier this year, in February, called "Beautiful." In February, he won the Oscar for best animated short film for "War Is Over!", which pays tribute to his mother, Yoko Ono, and his father, John Lennon.

The title of this piece is named after a hill north of Regents Park, London. The summit offers a panoramic view of the rooftops of the capital. The two children of rock monuments had already mentioned their desire to work together. "Primrose Hill" is where acoustic and electric sounds mix to realize this desire. It was released on the platforms on April 11 by McCartney and Lennon's record label, Interscope Records, in support of their upcoming album, "The Blackberry Train." James McCartney is the son of Paul McCartney and the grandson of John Lennon, the former leader of the Beatles.
