Gas stocks in the European Union remain just below the 59% threshold (58.81% at 671.1 TWh), which are equal to 17.84% of the average annual consumption of 3,760.87 TWh. Among the individual countries, Germany is confirmed as first in terms of stocks, with 166.25 TWh, equal to 65.26% of internal storage capacity.
