The speakers talked about the alliance of brothers that was created both in the military campaign and the heavy price paid in civil society. "Bedouin citizens of Israel are a contributing population, there is no need to prove this over and over again, and now it is our role as local and national leadership to change," said Sen. Yaniv Shlomo, special advisor to the government for the Bedouin Society. The conference also heard personal stories of Suleiman Shalibi and Ombrek Abu J. The socialite Amal Abu Alkom moderated the conference, which was held in the city of Yavnev, in the north of Israel.
