Yellow chicken wings from the Volaille Française and Sélection du Volailler brands sold in certain Leclerc and Carrefour stores in France have been recalled. These products are contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, the agent responsible for listeriosis.

People who have consumed these products mentioned and who present with fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, “are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption,” says the government website Rappel Conso. Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks, says the website. The government recommends destroying the products concerned, and specifies that a refund will be offered to the consumer. To do this, you must contact 0233303400. The full list of stores is available here. The product comes in the form of one kilo trays, sold between March 24 and April 4, 2024.
